Faithful History

Are you apart of the certified 49ers faithful? Since when? Let us know in the comments section below. If not, just watch this video to get a glimpse of the dedication required to be apart of the faithful. Join us.

From the red to gold, 49ers never fold. Jaunting from Candlestick to Levi’s Stadium, 49er fans show and prove – displaying an undeniable cadence at NFL football games to help set the tone for their beloved team. Hand it to John Madden, who once said that the 49ers were like the Roman Empire during a 1994 Monday Night NFL Game vs. the Oakland Raiders. The acknowledgment from Mr. Madden is undeniable. As the faithful will always remind you, they’ve won 5-Superbowls and would love to tell you all about the 49er greats such as; Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Steve Young & Bill Walsh. Faithful then, faithful now.

49ers Levi’s Stadium Pregame Pro Tips

Breakfast
There is a must hit breakfast joint in Santa Clara called Stan’s Donut Shop. Get up early, beat the traffic and enjoy yourself a delicious doughnut. It’s a must.

Stan’s has been cranking out these cerebral glazed doughnuts since 1959 — the year Red Hickey started coaching the San Francisco 49ers. The old school joint still sports old-school doughnut prices and the lines are long but they move quickly. Stan’s opens at 6 a.m. every day.

Levi’s Stadium Parking

Levi’s Stadium and neighboring parking lots open 3.5 hours before kickoff.

There are multiple parking lots available at Levi’s Stadium and even overflow parking available at Great America in Santa Clara. Get there early because they fill up fast and parking is not plentiful.

Levis’s Stadium Parking Pro Tips

Santana Row in San Jose offers parking, a round-trip shuttle ride to the stadium plus pregame and postgame dining/cocktail deals (www.santanarow.com/events) for 50 bucks. Another fancy option would be to make a reservation for brunch at Birk’s, park there for free and enjoy your walk to the stadium via the path behind the restaurant (www.birksrestaurant.com). If you can get a room at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, overnight guests on game nights will receive early check-in and free hotel parking. Pro moves, make yours.

Additional Parking Resources

Public Transit

While driving yourself might feel ideal, public transit can be a great alternative. We suggest taking a bus or a Lyft to your nearest Caltrain station. Enjoy the ride and then transfer to the VTA light rail at the Mountain View station where you’ll board another train for a quick less-than 30-minute ride that takes you directly to Levi’s Stadium. Set your fantasy lineups and covertly enjoy some road sodas on the train.

Pro Tip – Make sure your VTA ticket is prepurchased or you have a Clipper card. Unfortunately, Mountain View station’s will NOT issue tickets on game days (hopefully this changes soon). You don’t want to be the odd person out on game day so get a Clipper card.

Gear Up Correctly

49ers gear is arguably some of the best out there. Dating all the way back to the 1940’s, the faithful has had some of the best uniforms in the NFL. Be it a throwback or modern 49ers attire, dress to impress on game days.

49er Fans can also enjoy tailgating at the Faithful Mile which is described by the 49ers as:

“Located inside the screening perimeter west of Levi’s® Stadium, this 60,000 sq. ft. interactive zone provides the perfect pregame destination for fans prior to each 49ers home game. The Faithful Mile includes two expansive Bud Light bars, each with 20+ flat-screen HDTVs showing all the NFL action; the Pepsi Stage showcasing music and entertainment; unique engagement with many 49ers Partners; plus a food truck village and more! Post Game

Santa Clara Koreatown
San Francisco might be known for it’s bustling Chinatown and Japantown, but Santa Clara has Koreatown! This stretch near Lawrence Expressway is home to numerous Korean restaurants that produce Santa Clara’s finest bulgogi, bibimbap, seafood pancakes and the always coveted, Korean Fried Chicken. Most are open until midnight, some until 2 am. Pro moves faithful.

Final Levi’s Stadium Gameday Pro Tip
Niner fans please bring an extra phone battery, jump drive or juice pack! Yes. There is free Wifi at the game. You can also purchase your Caltrain ticket with your phone. You can also use your phone to buy concessions. Yes, this is convenient and great but you will be out of batt-juice in no time, so plan accordingly.
